iGB L!VE continues to grow as a business-critical platform
iGB L!VE continues to grow, attracting industry professionals from throughout the world and I think that reflects the strength of the brand but also the importance of face-to-face events in a sector which places so much importance on trust and interpersonal relationships. The strategy across all of our live events is to grow in line with the industry and its ever-evolving needs, whether that’s in terms of physical size or by adapting our format and offering: remaining dynamic and industry focused ensures that iGB L!VE remains a business-critical platform.

Everything that delegates will experience at iGB L!VE in July is the result of many hundreds of conversations that the team has held with our stakeholders. None of the big decisions are taken in isolation which means that our events, are by the industry and for the industry. The post show research that we undertake after each show identifies both the initiatives that worked as well as those that require attention. In that respect iGB L!VE attendees themselves are shaping the show experience.

‘All In’ is the rallying call for 2026
‘All In’ is a theme which relates to casino, to affiliates and in the year of the FIFA World Cup to sports betting operators. Delivered by the World Gaming team, iGB L!VE ’26 will bring together casino, sports betting operators, affiliates, tech vendors, and game providers who will be in London to continue the industry conversations and connections that were started at January’s editions of ICE and iGB Affiliate Barcelona. It’s about building on those trust-based partnerships that drive business growth. In terms of its overarching credentials iGB L!VE showcases game-changing technologies, provides access to market insights, and delivers high-quality curated networking.

In keeping with all of our events iGB L!VE has been shaped in partnership with our international community of stakeholders and as a consequence is recognized for being the event that industry professionals attend in order to secure deals.

Every challenge and opportunity will be debated In London
As event organizers, our role is to reflect the dominant trends impacting the industry and meet the needs of our international community of stakeholders. What’s clear is that every challenge and opportunity impacting the industry will be discussed and debated at iGB L!VE. Issues surrounding regulation, player protection and sustainable gambling are fundamental. I’m extremely proud that we were the first event organizers to introduce a player protection area to the show floor when the Consumer Protection Zone (CPZ) was launched at ICE 2018. Since then, the CPZ has rebranded as the Sustainable Gambling Zone (SGZ) to reflect current thinking.

The SGZ at iGB L!VE will be the biggest the show has featured and will have a high-profile presence. The digital-first focus of the show makes it a natural place to demonstrate technology-driven solutions that are particularly applicable and impactful in the online gaming space. Many of the tier 2 and tier 3 operators, new entrants and operators from new/emerging markets who make up the core of the show’s audience are in need of safer gambling/KYC solutions to either prepare for future regulations or to position themselves for acquisition. The SGZ provides an opportunity for visitors to network with industry peers who put the duty of care and sustainable play at the top of their agenda, to learn from experts and brainstorm the most effective solutions to tackle problem gambling. In terms of industry trends the feedback that we are receiving from our stakeholders is that the latest applications of AI will be a constant and referenced in every conversation that takes place in London. They have also cited topics including player engagement, localization, sustainable growth, new player audiences and the delivery of social experiences.

The inaugural Africa Summit
A major international initiative taking place at iGB L!VE is the launch of the Africa Summit, taking place 1 July. The business-critical event will bring together African regulators, international operators, suppliers and industry stakeholders to explore market development and market entry, regulatory cooperation, investment opportunities and sustainable growth across the continent. We are partnering with the African iGaming Alliance, whose CEO Peter Emolemo Kesitilwe, the former Botswana gambling regulator and the partnership reflects our commitment to supporting operators and suppliers looking to understand and enter high-growth markets.

The Africa Summit agenda will cover a wide range of key topics including regulatory cooperation, growth through best practice, the future of taxation, adapting global products for local audiences, sports betting, responsible gaming, player protection and integrity, AML, mobile money, KYC and player acquisition. The program will also include region-specific roundtables focused on markets across west, east and southern Africa. There’s no doubt that Africa represents one of the most important growth opportunities in global gaming, but success depends on market knowledge, regulatory understanding and trusted local engagement. The Summit has been created to give delegates exactly that.

Industry first M& Summit
‘New’ is a central aspect of the iGB L!VE experience, and attendees can expect that commitment to be evident throughout the event. An extremely exciting first is the launch of the World Gaming M&A Summit (WGM&A) taking place 1 July. The WGM&A represents the only dedicated forum for corporate development officers and M&A advisors working in iGaming. Convening leadership from public and private operators alongside sector-focused investment banks, legal advisors and corporate finance specialists, attendees will benefit from a highly focused opportunity to engage with key decision-makers, originate deal flow, assess strategic fit, and gain insights from active market participants.

The event provides direct access to London’s deep sector expertise built over decades of transactions and its unparalleled ecosystem of strategic acquirers, potential targets, leading advisory firms, and business leaders across the M&A value chain. M&A is a business imperative in the current iGaming landscape and this event features insights from sector-specialist advisors and industry leaders including Morgan Stanley’s Laurence Hopkins, Paolo Della Rovere and Bally’s Robeson Reeves.

Also featuring Strategic Intent Sessions, industry leaders will host round-tables to explain their growth theses, define their M&A criteria and share their business’ vision for consolidation and growth. Following the sessions attendees are invited to the M&A Summit cocktail reception and dinner where conversations will continue and deals will be cemented.

The iGB Affiliate Awards will be reimagined.

London’s first luxury hotel The Savoy and the award-winning Shard host iGB L!VE networking events
We know how important it is to provide attendees with the very best curated networking and hospitality. To deliver this we are hosting the first Summer Gala which will take place in the Beaufort Bar, at The Savoy Hotel, on Wednesday, 1 July (7pm to 9pm.)

The Savoy was Britain’s first luxury hotel and became a legendary hub for film stars, artists, authors and royalty. This exclusive, invitation-only event will bring together senior leaders, regulators, and investors from the global gaming industry. The Savoy offers an elegant, intimate and luxurious setting which is ideal for networking and supporting the goal of fostering key connections among industry leaders. The Summer Gala is being jointly presented by iGB L!VE and ICE underlining how the conversations started in Barcelona in January are continued, developed and extended in London six-months later. We have also reimagined the annual iGB Affiliate Awards.

A key point about the Awards is that the judging process is the most rigorous and fair in the sector. I would point to the strength and diversity of the judging panel, the use of NDAs, the highest possible transparency around the judging and the feedback loop we have created with the community. The process is fine-tuned each year based on the feedback from the iGaming affiliate community as well as our judges. It’s about establishing trust and an understanding that submissions are treated entirely on their merits and the same as everyone else’s.

A core objective of the Awards is to showcase disruptive and fast-growing businesses. July’s iGB Affiliate Awards are taking take place in the salubrious surroundings of The Shard, one of London’s most iconic landmarks. The Shard was created as an architecturally stunning Vertical City emerging from the Thames and at just under 310 meters high (1,016 feet) is Western Europe’s tallest building. We’ve replaced the traditional table lay-out with a standing format that will enable everyone to network more widely and freely. The Shard is an unforgettable venue and I’m sure that the industry will embrace its outstanding architecture and ambience.

Encouraging enterprise and supporting startups
As a leading event in the gambling industry, we see it as our responsibility to support innovation and encourage entrepreneurship. The iGB Startups Accelerator is designed for founders, innovators, investors, and operators. This half-day program focuses on early-stage businesses entering or scaling within gaming and betting, combining expert insights, founder experiences, investor viewpoints, and interactive sessions aimed at accelerating growth, funding, and market entry.

It also creates strong networking opportunities by bringing together startups, venture capital firms, operators, and industry leaders. Alongside this, Pitch iGB serves as a startup competition where five selected early-stage companies present live to a panel of judges and an industry audience. Each delivers a four-minute pitch followed by a four-minute Q&A session. The initiative highlights innovation while connecting founders with potential investors, partners, and operators. While these businesses may be small in size, they bring significant creativity and drive. Both programs are designed to help forge the connections that are essential for emerging companies to succeed.

The mid-year powerhouse and meeting point
iGB L!VE has been described as mid-year Powerhouse serving as a meeting point where businesses can reconnect, review progress and prepare strategically for the months ahead. Attendees tell us that the event plays a valuable role in continuing the conversations and relationships established earlier in the year at ICE and iGB Affiliate Barcelona, while offering the energy and accessibility of another major international city. At its core, iGB L!VE is a tier-one business event that highlights cutting-edge technologies, delivers invaluable market insights, and facilitates high-quality networking, including exclusive industry gatherings.

Like all our events, it has been developed in close collaboration with our global community, which is why it is widely recognized as a place where industry professionals come not just to meet, but also to do deals. To get the most from iGB L!VE my advice would simply be to plan ahead and fully explore the breadth of content, networking opportunities and specialist events available throughout the week. iGB L!VE continues to provide an important international platform for businesses of every size to build connections, explore opportunities and in the process shape the future direction of the industry.
