Scale and participants
This year, the strongest men’s and women’s national teams from across the Americas will compete for championship titles. The participating nations represent an impressive range of the region's leading sporting countries:
- Men's national teams: Canada, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Jamaica, Uruguay, Haiti, Colombia, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Honduras.
- Women's national teams: Canada, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Paraguay, Cuba, Uruguay, Colombia, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras, and El Salvador.

At the AmeriCup, every national team will be ready to showcase its skills and best performances. Even without the United States, the tournament promises to be highly competitive: five men's teams and four women's teams are ranked among the world's top 20 in their respective categories.
