The live-streamed events will showcase the thrilling action of one of Australia's premier horse racing events, taking place on Friday, 4 April and Friday, 11 April 2025 (North American time zone), at the iconic Royal Randwick Racecourse in Sydney.The events will be hosted by renowned Spanish-language racing commentators Claudia Spadaro and Alfredo Alfonso, who will provide expert analysis and engaging commentary for fans across North America and beyond. This collaboration aims to expand the reach of The Championships and bring the excitement of Australian racing to a new audience.
A standout moment of The Championships this year will be the appearance of Moira, the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare winner, who will compete in the prestigious Gr.1. Doncaster Mile Handicap. Now trained in Australia by Chris Waller, her inclusion adds an extra layer of excitement to an already star-studded field, and fans will not want to miss the chance to watch this talented runner in action on April 4th.
The Championships is Australia's equivalent of the Breeders' Cup in the United States, and with this new partnership, Sky Racing World, Hipica TV and 1/ST are bringing it directly to the Spanish-speaking community.
