Las Vegas CAC 2006 : Preview

There may never have been a more important event for our industry

August 11, 2006 - The United States Congress is dead-set to push some sort of legislation through this year... Sports betting CEO's are being picked-up Gestapo style at American airports... what the hell is going on? The short answer is: Not much we haven't been afraid of for years!

The Casino Affiliate Convention, or CAC, for the Fall of 2006 will be taking place in Las Vegas September 14th and 15th. We believe this event is of a major importance for a couple of reasons. First, we as an industry need to come together and form a cohesive plan of attack. Second, it's on American soil... which makes the whole event a risk for the squeamish and a rush for the daring!

The APCW will attend and be speaking, and we hope to see as many people there as can possibly make it. We have been assured that this event will go off without incident. However, conference organizer Marc Lesnick agrees that next years event will be forced out of the country... at least in the short term.
