The New APCW: The Association of Players, Casinos, and Webmasters

December 1st, 2006 - We are please to announce the new and improved Association of Players, Casinos and Webmasters! In light of recent events in the online gaming industry, we have made this strategic move to better serve our entire community!

Members will not notice too many changes outwardly, except for the name, of course. But we believe this move will be best for the long term goals we all share for this business. Current webmasters and affiliate program members will now be able to be part of a larger. more diversified group of people involved in online gambling. We now welcome casinos and players to add their voices to our membership body, which gives us a greater diversity of ideas, better communication throughout the industry, and a more dynamic impact on this business and in the political arena.

One change that most will notice immediately is that the APCW is now multi-lingual, and offers pages for members in French, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, and Swedish. We hope to be adding Russian and Hebrew in the next month or two, and eventually several Asian languages as well. There are several additional changes which will be implemented over the next two months as we meet with members at the Poker Expo in Costa Rica and the CAP Euro Event in London.

The APCW will announce a "follow-up" to this story, with details of revised Terms and Conditions for members, which we believe will create greater trust and responsibility in the industry. We look forward to your feedback about this movement, and we hope that it helps enhance our service and ability to impact this industry in many positive ways. Thank you all for your support!
