Integrity,
Transparency, and Customer Service Players and webmasters
are not always the most trusting bunch... and who could blame
them? The internet is so impersonal and ambiguous that most
of the time people have no idea who's on the other end. And
when you consider that our industry deals with large sums
of cash,
across international borders, and has been vilified by governments
and the mass media, it's easy to understand why trust is
at such a premium. That's where we can help.
Webmasters
and players trust the APCW and listen to what we report. We've
been conduction solid and unbiased auditing reports on casinos
and affiliate programs for years, and our reputation as a straightforward
and fair organization has grown with the quality of our work. There is no casino, poker room, sportsbook,
or other gaming site we will not audit. We look at player issues
from deposit to download, and game play to cash out. We test
bonus awards and customer service, as well as the aesthetics
and ergonomics of sites we visit. Webmaster issues are tested
as well, as we play through affiliates links to see what tracks
and what doesn't. We test and re-test to look for the "shaving"
of players from affiliate accounts, as well as making certain
proper credit is being given for cross-branding campaigns carried
out by programs.

Audit
Protection and Brand Marketing Our auditing program is not designed to hurt
casinos or affiliate programs. In fact, just the opposite is
true. When players and webmasters know that you're independently
tested by the APCW, they know you've made the commitment to
them and to yourselves to ensure your operation is running
at the highest, most professional level. But the only way they
develop that trust is when they see the APCW Audited badge
on your site. When we conduct an audit, APCW Member
Programs have many advantages. First, if the audit is positive then
we report that to the entire industry in forums, press releases,
blogs, emails, bulletins, videos, and podcats. Second, the
program can use our data
in their marketing efforts to convert new players and recruit
new webmasters. And third, if an audit is not so positive,
members have "audit protection" in place. This means we contact
you first, give you time to investigate, and prepare
a statement to accompany the report. When we conduct audits of a Non-Member
Programs they never know until after the fact. First,
if their audit is positive, no one will ever know. Why? Because
when we invest our money and time into conducting an audit,
that information becomes our proprietary property. And if
a program
is not interested in supporting the APCW, then we cannot
allow the use of our data to support their business. Second,
if an audit of a non-member is not so positive, there is
no protection in place. This means that we will not contact
the program before releasing the results in forums, press
releases, blogs, emails, bulletins, videos, and podcats.
Third, we will not turn over any records of an audit, or
discuss the results in any way, with a non-member casino
or program. Feedback
Reports and Surveys The APCW's feedback reports
ask webmasters and players about how well Member
Programs are performing. These
reports cover such aspects as player complaints, chargeback
rates, affiliate manager responsiveness,
customer service, timeliness of payments, brand reputation,
and the overall opinion of your customers about your product.
Our surveys and polls give you additional feedback
about how players and webmasters feel about what's going
on with current events related to online gaming. When these
surveys and feedback reports are combined with our audits,
and made available to you in our members area, than that's
just more information you have (and non-members don't) to
help grow your business. Marketing
and Promotions Our Perspectives
Weekly webcast, released every Friday, has become
the most watched webcast
in online gaming. These ten minute overviews of what's
going on in online gaming give players & webmasters valuable
information and understanding about this industry. They
are a way for our members programs to instill
brand recognition and communicate promotional information
to thousands of viewers in a short amount of time. All
members are given a free commercial to rotate on our
webcasts, and higher levels of membership within the
APCW increase your overall exposure on our media and
give you other benefits as well. Our live
audio podcast, Perspectives Now, is also
produced weekly with the help our partners at Rounder's
Radio. Webmasters and others can phone in questions,
comments, and concerns to J.Todd live each week, or just
sit back and listen to the discussions that go far beyond
the time limits of the weekly video. Additional marketing
opportunities are available with all our media, including
show sponsorships, banner ads, emails,
online and print magazine ads, press releases, and vanity
interviews. Access
and Advocacy The APCW is out there
posting across the web each week, and while we're out there
we're looking out for your program! Negative situations can
occur on forums and message boards quickly, and we'll do
our best to alert you and liaison, if practical or necessary.
When issues arise with players and webmasters that affect
your
program,
we
will
be there to help mediate if requested. We realize that this
is a service business and there are bound to be issues from
time to time. However, there's simply no reason that all
parties can't work together for a positive outcome which
benefits everyone. No one party is "always right", and the
APCW does not take the position of being on the side of the
player... or the webmaster... or the casino... or the affiliate
program. We are on the side of the industry. Click
